NBK turns 10 years old this month! That's right, we've wasted 10 years of our lives farting around with online gaming. Check out our new history timeline (work in progress), to see what we've all been doing instead of trying to better our lives.

We ain't the only ones getting old, either.  The gaming community that we're a part of has been around as long as we have. So it's not just going to be a celebration for NBK, but for all the guys and gals we hang out with as well.

Throughout the month of February (or until we get sick of doing it) we're going to be celebrating in the forums and maybe even in game.  Doing what?  We're not totally sure yet. We're making it up as we go.  You'll just have to hang out with us and find out.

Summer's here and the time is right for playing some games! Quite a bit has happened over the last couple of months and ~NBK~ is looking forward to even more action, adventure, and really wild things in the future.

As any growing guild, we've had to adapt to accomodate our player base. The biggest change has been our conversion from Team Speak to Ventrillo. Our old TS server couldn't handle the amount of people logging on, especially when 25-man raids were scheduled, so Woody set us up with a dedicated Vent. server. The transition went smoothly and there was much rejoicing.

In sports news, especially for the fantasy football fanatics, we will once again be hosting a Yahoo fantasy football league. Keep an eye on the forums for information on joining in on the fun! In hockey, the Pittsburg Penguins have won Lord Stanley's Cup. A source close to the Penguin's locker room said that Zy's rally cap played a significant factor in their win in game 7. He's still in recovery, but is doing well.

There have been some exciting developements in Guild Wars over the past couple of months. Kook has finally achieved the title "God Walking Amongst Mere Mortals." Maxing out 30 titles is no small feat, so congradulations Kook! In other GW news, the addition of Nicholas the Traveller and the Zaishen Quests have given us new ways to get together as a guild, have some fun, and meet new people. On top of all this, one of our wayward NBK-GW members has returned. Welcome back Thayer!

The WoW contingient continues to grow. Over the past several months, ~NBK~ has been doing 10-man raids on a regular basis. This has earned ~NBK~ the #30 spot on the 10-man (strict) ladder for Hellscream on guildox.com. Vanila, Woody, and Precha have also been working hard on expanding our WoW player base.

In an exclusive interview, Vanila confided to this reporter that " We have been recruiting heavy as of late to try to get enough peeps to run guild only 25 mans. We recently full cleared Naxx 25 for the first time as a guild. This weeks was our second full clear of Naxx 25." According to guildox.com, ~NBK~ now ranks in the mid 70's on both of their 25-man Hellscream ladders and on their regular 10-man ladder! Good job and congradulations to all involved!

According to Precha~NBK~, many members of the ~NBK~ crew continue to enjoy the console games. And there was much rejoicing.

And speaking of Precha, a few weeks ago, he surrendered in the battle of balding and shaved his head. Apparently, his student's weren't too traumatized.

Zero's been hitting the golf links and managed to get his first eagle. Congratulations!

Interfector's been plugging away at tech. school in the US Air Force. That's a hard grind and we appreciate what he's doing for us - it is a noble thing.
