NBK has always been respectable squad with high integrity, in part by maintaining a code of conduct that all members must abide by. These rules are to help provide an enjoyable playing atmosphere for all gamers, whether they are members of our gaming group or not. Our rules are based on good sportsmanship, fair play, common sense, and lots of experience.

Code of Conduct

• Have fun. NBK is a gaming group designed for and by its members. Have fun and enjoy your gaming experience with NBK and try to be a positive reflection on NBK at all times
   

• No swearing in a chat window, not even abbreviations. We feel this reflects poorly on you as an individual and us as a gaming clan.
   

• No abusing other players either in game, in the forums or on Ventrilo.  Harrassment of any nature will not be tolerated.
   

• No offensive names. Keep character names clean and not inflammatory to persons or groups. This includes poking fun at other religions, or races of people. NBK is a global gaming group that may at any time include players from any continent or country.
   

• Follow forum rules when posting in the general forums (See posting guidelines in the general forums). Keep the general forums clean and friendly.
   

• Follow Ventrilo server rules and use common courtesy when on the NBK Vent server.
   

• No arguing over rank. We have set the rank for all members and we will give promotions as we see fit.
   

Cheating

• NBK does not tolerate cheating by our members. Anyone that gets caught cheating will be banned from NBK.
   

• Follow the general rules for each game. For example; GW & WoW has a user agreement, AA has Rules of Engagement.
   

• We generally don't recommend the use of 3rd party programs, due to the nature of hackers ect. Mods for WoW should be highly scrutinized, we recommend keeping mods to a minimum.
   

• No scamming (loosely defined: scamming is cheating/tricking people out of money or items) aka Ninja looting
   

• Getting banned from a server for cheating, or having your game account suspended are grounds for dismissal from NBK and will be discussed by officers on a case by case basis.
   

Team play

• At NBK, we're all about having fun. But when we Raid, we get serious (because winning is fun). Our players are expected to play as a team and follow orders.
   

• there will always be somebody in charge during raids.
   

• expect to take turns playing. Everybody gets some match time.
   

Leadership
 

• All officers will be delegated some amount of authority to make decisions regarding this squad.
   

• All officers are expected to take on some of the responsibilities of maintaining the squad.

•  

• During matches, either the top ranking NBK or whoever has been put in charge speaks for NBK.
   

• If a problem develops between squads or between individuals, the top ranking NBK member in the game speaks for NBK and is to handle it accordingly.
   

• If a problem develops between NBK squad members, you should first try to work things out with the other person. Then go to an officer and ask their advice on the problem if it can't be resolved.
   

Reporting Violations

• If you would like to report an NBK member for violating NBK rules, please contact bubby (or whoever), so we can take appropriate action. Be sure to include all relevant information:
   

• Who broke the rule
   

• What rule did they break
   

• Where and when did they break the rule
   

• Proof that the rule was broken (screenshot, link, whatever).
   

• Your name and contact information in case we need to get back with you
   

• Any other relevant information
